Seven contemporary photographers whose work is in the Harwood Collections were asked by the curators to submit a series of photographs for exhibition. Also on exhibit are images chosen from over 150 in the collection by Mildred Tolbert (1919-2008). She documented the artists, poets and community characters she knew between the 1950s and 2000. We have chosen to show her portraits of women artists who are part of From the Harwood Collection: Works by Women.
