Sam Taylor: The Bone Collection Portfolios

Portfolios are still-life images made by the artist from a found collection on a ranch in northern New Mexico in the fall of 2002. Taylor uses a digital camera to create positive transparencies— a Polymer Photogravure process—then prints from sensitized plates on an etching press.
