Kindred Spirits and the Adobe Connections E.I. Couse and J.H. Sharp on view in the Dorothy and Jack Brandenburg Gallery opens June 19th and is on view at the Harwood  through October 18. This cooperative exhibition organized by the Couse Foundation and the Harwood Museum of Art features the work of Joseph Sharp and I. E. Couse. Both artists were founding members of the Taos Society of Artists. This exhibition combines paintings by Sharp and Couse along with a selection of Native American artifacts portrayed in their works,  as well as sketchbooks, photographs and ephemera related to their art and lives. This exhibition launches The Couse Foundations Centennial Celebration of the pivotal year 1909 when Couse and Sharp became neighbors on Kit Carson Road.
