Arroyo Hondo sculptor, painter and printmaker, Gretchen Ewert, will be displaying her new line of ceramic and metal jewelry during the February Shop & Learn Trunk Show. Over her decades of artistry, Gretchen has traveled throughout West Africa, Australia, India and Southeast Asia and the influences can be seen in her hand designed paper and ceramic work.
A free artist reception will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Harwood Museum Store. The public is invited to meet Gretchen and see a demonstration of her hand built clay jewelry. The work will be on display for the month of February.
